Strava or it didn’t happen is a regular call between our cycling groups, for some simply recording the hurt or effort legitimises the suffering in the first place, others like a legacy of rides to ‘collect’, others are stat heads and love to analyse.
Love it or loathe it Strava and its associated dictum have become part of our cycling dialogue, we celebrate / make fun of this with our #stravaoritdidn’thappen patch. Thanks to Mattoo for helping realise the design.

We say why not? We live in a day where beards are cool again and men can once again be men simply by writing #campvibes.
Here at the Fifth we have a tendency to ride for coffee or have coffee to ride. Beans are important of course, but don’t over look the recepticle.

Trakke bags have been busier than usual just spoke to Alec and he has been working on a film project, here is what he had to say about it.
“Over the last few months, we’ve been hanging out with Glasgow based film-maker Niall Walker. After hours of filming, chatting and editing, he’s put together a short documentary about Trakke; how the bags are made, the materials we use and why we make them.”
“The film will premiere on the 10th October at Siempre Bicycle Cafe, so come along, drink some wine with us, grab some munch and check out the film first hand on a big screen! We’ll be there from 6-9pm.”

Stoked to be able to report on 2 pieces of Trakke related news. First is that the Harris tweed offerings I hinted on from my visit report will now be available to buy in October and were officially previewed at the ever successful Tweed Run. The Second piece of news is that we will officially be stockists of Trakke and they are available to buy RIGHT NOW with international delivery over on The 5th Store.
