You may have caught glimpses of this in action over the last few weekends both on the track, on the road and of course in the mud. We took advantage of the incredible scenery up in Gloucester to shoot the kit in all its glory. Thanks to Chris for the images and James ‘The Spartan’ for making it look good.
The kit was designed by Johnny ‘Hsuper’ we were stoked to be able to collaborate with him on it and stretch the boundaries of our colourway and branding. Johnny decided our stripes needed the 90’s go-faster athletic touch, lets hope they work.
We wanted to make something that would cement our growth over to NYC and represent the fresh involvement and identity of a whole new team faction… as well as of course just looking rad. This design will inform all of our 2013/14 team kit and accessories and should trickle down into some products available on the store, keep an eye.

Sir Paul Smith was the man behind the design for the Giro‘s 2013 Leader jersey, aka maglia rosa (pink jersey). As much as I love Paul Smith’s work and love/respect what he does I don’t think is a crazy design. Although is just a pink jersey with the sponsors on it I like it none the less.
As you know I’m a big fan of Shand Cycles. As soon as I saw this mock up appear on their blog I reached out to Russ to get the latest, here’s the news in his words…
(we’ve) been focusing on our bikes and getting processes sorted out – the important stuff! Hence, It’s taken a bit of time to develop an ‘aesthetic’ around what we make and how we promote ourselves. However, it’s been good to take time to find something we’re comfortable with and would be happy to see people wearing a couple of years from now.
As you know, Endura are just around the corner from us and as we know a couple of the guys there, it made sense for them to produce the jerseys. We also rate the quality of what they make and even better, they still produce some of their range (including ours) at their factory here in Livingston. Tops will include short and long sleeve jerseys as well as a matching gilet for chilly mornings!
Rothera are not so close (being based in Philadelphia), but having seen their caps they’re just what a cycling cap should be – functional and long lasting. Oh, and rather stylish!
