This is the 8th week of the Kissena sessions and my 3rd roll out on the Queens based track. In a recent round-up of active Velodromes’ in the US she was titled ‘big bumpy’. It’s certainly and interesting place, with the buzz of RC planes above us and the trippy tinkle from the Ice Cream Van it makes for interesting racing. I am though extremely grateful to have the chance to race track when out here and for all the efforts from everyone on a wednesday night. There’s a great atmosphere at the track with a real mix of people, Mattie did a great job of capturing the down-time between races which is all part of the night.
