We showed you The Contender when it was released here but the following video from State Bicycle Co shows not only the bike but its native city of Phoenix in all its glory. It’s great to see a different city getting profiled and its clear the guys have pushed the boundaries with the film work on this one.

London Nocturne 2012 Launch Ride

A few of us went to London Nocturne 2012 Launch ride tonight. There was a great turn out, from penny farthings, folding bikes to fixed gear and road bikes riding around london, 2 laps of the race circuit and finishing at a pub. We also had a good chat with Alex Dowsett (last year’s Nocturne winner) from Team Sky and Biggs even had a go on a penny farthing bike. Good times. For now here are a few photos I took.

Howie’s t-shirt of the month is ‘B is for Bike’ designed by Anthony Oram.

B is for a Bike. B is also for Beautiful, Brilliant and Bliss (three words that go hand in hand with cycling). Not to mention the Better you feel after a bike ride.
It was John F. Kennedy who once said ‘Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride’.
We reckon he was Bang-on.
